Story J Company, home to stars like Kim Tae Hee and Seo In Guk, has issued a warning regarding recent impersonation scams.
On June 24, the agency released an official statement revealing that individuals have been fraudulently posing as company managers to commit scams. “We have confirmed multiple reports of people impersonating our staff and engaging in fraudulent activities,” the agency said.
They clarified that the company never requests money or personal information from individuals and does not solicit purchases or reservations using business cards.
“All such actions are illegal. If you receive suspicious contact, do not respond and report it to the police immediately,” the agency added. “We take this matter very seriously and will pursue strong legal action to prevent further harm.”
