On June 14, aespa's Karina attended her older sister's wedding.
Karina was seen welcoming guests and celebrating the occasion with her family in what appeared to be a church. She wore a formal white dress with a black jacket over it, and simple makeup.
Guests reported that both Karina and her sister looked beautiful, and that Karina was kind and polite. They stated that Karina fulfilled every guest's photo request, taking dozens of photos with those attending the wedding.
Karina previously revealed her close relationship with her older sister, saying, "I'm close with my older sister. She's a nurse, and she's the kindest person I've ever met. I always say there's no one kinder than her. When I was a trainee, my sister used to give me bandages when I needed them." She added, "When we were little, I bullied my sister so much. I used to bite and hit her so much that she got bruises... I think that's why she became a nurse." Karina also revealed that her sister never tells anyone she is related to Karina because she doesn't want the attention: "My older sister keeps it a total secret that I'm her sister. Once, I said during an interview that my older sister is prettier than me, and she got really stressed out. She said that I would bring too much attention to her, and told me not to say that again."
