Singer Yoon Min Soo is drawing attention for his cool and respectful co-parenting approach following his divorce, as he recently traveled overseas with his ex-wife and son.
On May 19th, Yoon’s ex-wife, known publicly as Kim, shared several photos on Instagram from a trip to Japan. The photos featured herself, Yoon Min Soo, their son Yoon Hoo, and a group of friends enjoying their vacation together.
In the pictures, Yoon Min Soo can be seen doting on Yoon Hoo, who now towers over his mother and exudes a more mature, dependable presence.
The post sparked interest as the trio were seen traveling together despite Yoon Min Soo having announced his divorce last year after 18 years of marriage.
Online reactions were largely supportive, with comments such as, “This is so cool,” “Even after divorce, they’re still a family because of their child,” and “Respect to both of them.”
Yoon Min Soo and Kim married in 2006 and welcomed their son the same year. They publicly announced their divorce in 2023.
At the time, Kim shared, “We’ve done our best to maintain our relationship through both tough and joyful times, but we’ve decided to part ways for our own well-being. Still, we trust and respect each other, and will do our best as Hoo’s mom and dad.”
The former couple has continued to fulfill their parental roles, even attending Yoon Hoo’s high school graduation together.
