Sion, a member of NCT WISH under SM Entertainment, successfully completed his first ceremonial pitch.
On May 4 at 2 PM, Sion participated in a ceremonial first pitch event during the KIA Tigers vs. Hanwha Eagles game at Gwangju-KIA Champions Field, part of the 2025 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League. With a powerful throw and energetic cheering, he captivated the crowd.

After the pitch, Sion shared:
“It was both nerve-wracking and exciting to throw the first pitch for the KIA Tigers, a team I’ve supported since childhood. It was especially meaningful to cheer alongside other young KIA fans. After having two previous attempts canceled last season, I’ll never forget today.”
Sion took part in the “KIA's Early Children's Day Series,” a special Children’s Day celebration. Donning a special collaboration uniform between the KIA Tigers and the animation 'Catch! Teenieping', he transformed into “SIONping.” His bright visuals and lively energy drew enthusiastic reactions and quickly went viral on social media.

During the top and bottom of the 5th inning, SION danced to NCT WISH’s latest title track "poppop" from the cheer platform, further elevating the atmosphere. He continued to cheer passionately from the stands, showcasing his love for the sport.
NCT WISH made their comeback on April 14 with their second mini album "poppop", achieving major milestones: surpassing one million sales for the first time since debut, topping domestic album charts (monthly, weekly, and daily), winning three music show trophies, and ranking high on Apple Music Korea, QQ Music (China), and YouTube charts in both Korea and Japan — firmly solidifying their status as a breakout act of 2025.
