Suhye, a member of MADEIN, will temporarily suspend her activities, according to a statement released by her agency, 143 Entertainment.
On May 14, the agency announced, “Suhye has decided to take a break for the time being due to personal reasons.” It added, “This decision was made in order for her to return in a better condition for her fans, and we kindly ask for your understanding. We will do our utmost to support Suhye so she can rest comfortably and take the time she needs.”
MADEIN debuted in September last year as a seven-member group consisting of Suhye, Nagomi, Serina, MiU, Yeseo, Mashiro, and Gaeun.
However, Gaeun left the group in 2023 due to health issues. Last month, Gaeun held a press conference alleging that she was sexually harassed by 143 Entertainment CEO Lee Yong Hak. Gaeun’s side has since announced plans for legal action. In response, 143 Entertainment has firmly denied the allegations, stating that many parts of Gaeun’s claims are untrue.
