Bbaek Ga, a member of the veteran co-ed group Koyote, is grieving the loss of his mother, who passed away on May 20 due to a chronic illness.
On May 21, his agency JG STAR released an official statement, saying, “We regret to inform you that Bbaek Ga’s mother passed away on the 20th after battling a long-term illness.”
The agency continued, “We ask for your kind understanding and warm condolences so that Bbaek Ga and his family can have a respectful time of mourning.”
Bbaek Ga is currently at the funeral site, which has been set up at Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital Funeral Hall in Seoul. The funeral procession will take place on May 22 at 10:30 a.m.
Over the years, Bbaek Ga has spoken fondly of his mother in various broadcasts. In January, he revealed on SBS PowerFM’s 'Cultwo Show' that his mother’s health had been deteriorating, expressing concern and affection for her wellbeing.
