Korean indie band Jannabi has extended the lingering warmth of their recent solo concert with a generous act of giving.
Following their 2025 solo concert "To All the Boys and Girls", Jannabi donated the entire proceeds—48.6 million KRW (approximately $35,000 USD)—from merchandise T-shirt sales to support children in family caregiving situations.
The donation will be used to cover educational expenses, living costs, and cultural experiences, helping to ensure the healthy development of these children.
This gesture of generosity is an extension of what fans have come to see as quintessentially Jannabi—a heartfelt blend of music, empathy, and social connection. The band, which recently released their fourth studio album "Sound of Music pt.1", has consistently expressed the belief that "music is not fantasy, but reality," a message they continue to embody through action. More than a simple act of goodwill, the donation holds deeper meaning as a shared gesture between the band and their fans.
Jannabi’s label, Peponi Music, shared:
"In line with the concert’s theme, we hoped that all boys and girls would feel supported. We prepared this together with our fans, wishing to bring even a small bit of strength to children who were once referred to as ‘head-of-household youth.’"
Jannabi is set to conclude their national tour with final performances at Daegu EXCO on June 28 and 29. The band also plans to continue connecting with youth this summer through their signature emotional resonance and lyrical storytelling.
