Actress Go So Young revealed that she and her husband Jang Dong Gun have almost nothing in common.
Recently, a new video titled "Go So Young's Soju Recipe Revealed (Drink While Preventing Hangovers)" was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'That’s the Go So Young.'
In the video, Go So Young is seen dining and drinking with her staff at her favorite samgyeopsal (pork belly) restaurant. She even brought her own soju and lemon juice to enjoy the meal.
When asked whether she has always eaten freely without dieting, Go So Young replied, "I’ve never been on a diet. I’ve never skipped a single meal in my life," adding, "I don’t have that kind of self-control. I’ve even been told, 'You’re the first actress I’ve seen who eats this well.'"
She went on to say, "For example, when we go to a commercial shoot, my husband doesn’t eat anything. But I’m the complete opposite—I eat whatever I want. I’ll be in tight-fitting clothes with my belly sticking out," she laughed. "Then I just say, 'Please Photoshop it.'"
Go So Young shared, "These days, I try to manage my carbs. I can’t avoid them completely, so I eat them in the morning, and in the evening I mostly eat meat and vegetables. But I’ve never skipped food just because I wanted to avoid it."
She also talked about her MBTI, saying she has a T-type personality. "My daughter Yoon Seol tells me every day, 'Mom, you’re totally a full-on T,'" she said. "My husband Jang Dong Gun is an F-type. Honestly, we don’t have anything in common."
Go So Young continued, "We argue all the time about alcohol too. He says he’s a drinker, but I say he’s not because he doesn’t drink at home. When he opens a bottle of wine at home, he always asks me to take just one sip, but I never do. I heard that men generally want to feel emotionally connected—but it gets tiring when it happens too often," she added.
