Singer and actress Uhm Jung Hwa shared a heartwarming moment with her rapidly growing niece, Uhm Ji On.
On April 7th, Uhm Jung Hwa posted several photos on social media with the caption, “When Ji On hugs me, I melt.” The photos were taken at a photography exhibition titled ‘Air of Time’, hosted by her younger brother Uhm Tae Woong in Seoul’s Jung-gu district.
The event was a family affair, attended by Uhm Jung Hwa, Uhm Tae Woong, his wife Yoon Hye Jin, and their daughter Ji On.
Now 12 years old, Uhm Ji On surprised many with her impressive height — reportedly around 175 cm, towering over her aunt. Fans were also quick to notice how much she resembles Uhm Jung Hwa as she grows older.
The sweet bond between aunt and niece was clear, as Uhm Jung Hwa gushed over Ji On’s affectionate nature and mature appearance.
Meanwhile, Uhm Tae Woong and Yoon Hye Jin tied the knot in 2013. Uhm Jung Hwa is currently reviewing projects following the success of her 2023 drama ‘Doctor Cha’.
