Broadcaster Jeon Hyun Moo and singer BoA drew attention after hosting a surprise Instagram live broadcast while seemingly tipsy at Jeon’s house — a spontaneous moment that ended up being cut short by BoA's manager from SM Entertainment.
On the night of April 5th, Jeon went live on social media for the first time ever, joined by BoA at his home. “Someone kept telling me to try going live, so I’m doing it for the first time,” he said, adding, “We’re drinking a bottle of alcohol BoA had been saving.”
Throughout the stream, BoA appeared relaxed and playful — at one point touching Jeon’s cheek and leaning on his shoulder — highlighting their close friendship.
However, the live broadcast didn’t last long. Jeon revealed, “I keep getting calls from my manager. The company freaked out because the director BoA pretended to be drunk.” BoA added with a smile, “I think they’re worried about us,” before the two signed off.
The stream also included a cheeky moment when Jeon read a fan comment asking if he was dating comedian Park Na Rae. BoA quipped, “I don’t think they’re dating. He’s too good for her,” raising eyebrows and fueling further curiosity among fans.
The incident quickly went viral, with netizens commenting on the unexpected chemistry between the two longtime entertainers and the behind-the-scenes glimpse at their off-duty camaraderie.
