Krystal says her solo album will 'hopefully' come out this year

On April 11 KST, singer/actress Krystal appeared at a guest viewing event for a special showing of the French film 'Hors du Temps (Suspended Time)'. The star attended this event as a promotional ambassador for 'Semaine du Cinéma Français 2025'.

On this day, Krystal commented on what projects she has in store for 2025. First, she revealed that she recently wrapped up filming for 'Audition 109', a drama film directed by and starring actor Jung Woo. 

She then added on, "I am also preparing for my album". When the audience gasped collectively after hearing her words, the star laughed and said, "This isn't the first time I'm talking about this!"

Before Krystal could move on, the MC asked, "Can we hear this album within the year?", to which Krystal answered, "Hopefully. I think so." 

Finally, the singer/actress stated, "In the summer, I will start filming for a drama as well."
