On April 27, Hyeri’s interview video was released through the official GQ Korea YouTube channel.
Most of the questions that day were about love. When asked about her "love chronicle," Hyeri was surprised, saying, "That’s a deep question." She answered, "Last year, I loved myself. This year, I will continue to love myself, and next year, I plan to love myself even more."
Regarding how she works on loving herself, she explained, "It might seem like something small, but I try to catch what my body needs at the moment—resting well when I want to rest, and sleeping properly when I feel like sleeping."
Hyeri also chose her work as something she truly loves. She shared, "I love my job. Photo shoots used to be really difficult for me, but recently, I’ve come to really enjoy them and find them fun."
As for something she deeply adores, she mentioned her pet dog Hodoo: "I love our youngest family member, Hodoo. He’s always adorable."
When asked, "What words make your heart flutter?" Hyeri answered by naming a popular hot pot chain: "‘Wanna go to Haidilao?’" She added that she even went there about three weeks ago, revealing, "My younger sibling is a VIP there, so when I go with them, we don’t have to wait in line. I just tag along whenever they go."
Known for her strict self-care routine, including avoiding carbohydrates, Hyeri also shared her favorite hot pot combination: "I eat the spicy broth (hongtang) and mushroom broth, but I don’t eat glass noodles. I usually eat brisket, various vegetables, mushrooms, and shrimp balls," she said, making the viewers' mouths water.
