Former T-ara member Soyeon has announced that she will not be attending Hyomin's wedding.
On April 3, Soyeon shared on her Instagram Story, "Unavoidable moving schedule + construction delays. Daily hospital visits and medication for Totoro. Everything overlapped, and while I was handling everything alone, even my mom came to visit but ended up struggling to help me." She revealed how her days had not gone as planned.
She continued, "I couldn't attend the national team match in March, I had to cancel all my medical check-ups scheduled in Korea for April, and I can't make it to Hyomin's wedding either. I’ll be stuck with a non-stop schedule this month and probably next month," expressing how busy she has been.
Despite having left the group, Soyeon drew attention by revealing that she had originally planned to attend Hyomin's wedding, showing that their friendship remains strong.
Meanwhile, in 2022, Soyeon legally registered her marriage with soccer player Cho Yu Min, who is nine years younger than her, after three years of dating.
Cho Yu Min recently played in a match against Oman on March 20. Since last year, he has been playing for Sharjah FC in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), leading him and Soyeon to relocate to Dubai. When he transferred, Sharjah FC reportedly paid a transfer fee of around 1.5 billion KRW (1.03 million USD), and his annual salary is estimated to have risen to 2 billion KRW (~1.4 million USD).
