Five dramas are heading to France as they have been invited to the Cannes International Series Festival.

The 8th Cannes International Series Festival recently announced its selection for the long-form and short-form competition categories, the documentary competition, and the non-competition section.

Several Korean works have been selected for this year's festival.

'S Line' (written and directed by Ahn Joo Young), produced by Sidus, has been selected for the long-form competition. It is the only Korean drama to compete in this category.

'S Line' is a fantasy thriller based on the webtoon of the same name. The story unfolds as mysterious red lines begin appearing above people's heads, revealing their past sexual partners.

The drama has not yet secured a domestic broadcast network. It will have its world premiere at the Cannes Series Festival.

The remaining four dramas have been selected for the non-competition 'Rendezvous' section. The list includes 'Doubt,' 'Nursery Rhymes Ghost Stories,' 'Hunter with a Scalpel,' and 'Fairy Fasting Center.' 'Hunter with a Scapel' and 'Fairy Fasting Center' will be screened in special sessions.

These dramas will be introduced on April 30 at the Jean Mineur Auditorium. Actors Nam Gyu Ri, Hong Soo Hyun, Park Joo Hyun, Ryu Seung Soo, Jo Hye Jung, and directors Lee Jung Hoon and Song Yeon Hwa will be in attendance.

The Cannes International Series Festival is a global festival dedicated to TV drama content and is now in its 8th year of celebration. This year’s edition runs from April 25 to 30 in Cannes.
