After five heartfelt encounters, actor Chun Jung Myung finally took a quiet but meaningful step forward, gently suggesting an “after-date” — a small gesture that said a lot coming from someone as introspective as he is.
On the April 14th episode of tvN STORY’s 'Never Late for Love,' viewers watched Chun Jung Myung go on a date with Lee Se Ryeong, who is 15 years younger than him, and make his final decision on the show.
“I’m not good at expressing myself,” he admitted during the episode. “Sometimes I can be vague.”
When Lee Se Ryeong asked if he was doing it on purpose, he responded honestly: “That’s part of it… but also because I could get hurt.” His words revealed a thoughtful, self-protective side — someone who handles his emotions with care. “I don’t make bold moves or open up easily,” he added, showing just how guarded he’s been when it comes to love.
Lee Se Ryeong, meanwhile, showed surprising maturity. “For a relationship to grow, someone has to be brave enough to risk getting hurt,” she said. Though she was initially thrown off by his hesitations, she came to understand him better: “I realized he’s someone who needs time — someone worth waiting for.”
Throughout the season, Chun Jung Myung met five different women.
