EXID, who performed as a full group for the first time in six years on KBS2’s ‘Immortal Songs’, secured the final victory.
The episode, themed ‘Artist Baby Vox Special,’ featured ONEWE, Stephanie, Jung Seung Won, Yuk Joong Wan Band, and EXID. Baby Vox opened with ‘Missing you,’ showcasing their timeless stage presence.
ONEWE reinterpreted ‘Doll’ with a bold band sound, Stephanie impressed with a powerful rendition of ‘Killer,’ and Jung Seung Won transformed ‘Why’ into an operatic spectacle. Despite the strong competition, EXID emerged as the final winner.
Following the victory, Hani shared on social media, “Congratulations, EXID! Thanks to so many people, we got to be ‘us’ once more.” She expressed gratitude to Solji for leading the group, LE for pushing through despite back pain, Hyelin for enduring a busy schedule, and Jeonghwa for perfecting their choreography. She also fondly remembered the late Shinsadong Tiger, saying, “I miss you, oppa. We won!”
Meanwhile, Hani had postponed her September wedding to psychiatrist Yang Jae Woong after an incident at his hospital led to controversy.
