Another girl group is disbanding as all its members decided not to renew their contracts with the agency.
On February 26, IST Entertainment announced that it had mutually agreed to terminate its exclusive contract with Weeekly. The agency explained that all the members agreed to part ways with IST Entertainment after a lengthy discussion. With this announcement, Weeekly has ended their five-year journey in the music industry.
Many fans are heartbroken by this sudden disbandment news. Some expressed disappointment and confusion as the group is disbanding in just five years. They commented:
