Recently, a video titled 'Lyn, Breaking Free from the Judgment of Others' was released on the by PDC YouTube channel.
In the video, Lyn shared her struggles with public perception, stating, “I don’t have a good image. I’m just doing what I feel, but people don’t think it’s genuine. At first, it was stressful. Hearing that constantly made me think, ‘Why me? I’m just being myself.’ I was misunderstood as pretending to be cheerful. I’m not exactly sure where they got that idea, but they called me fake.”
Lyn’s husband, ISU, who had been serving as a social service worker in 2009, was given a suspended indictment for involvement in a minor prostitution scandal. Lyn married ISU in 2014, and in 2016, she revealed through her blog that she had taken legal action against malicious commenters.
She expressed, “My husband made a mistake, and I’m not denying that. But the spreading of false information, extreme personal attacks, and the vile insults targeting my parents, and even hypothetical comments about a child that didn’t exist, needed legal intervention.”
In 2019, Lyn addressed the ongoing malicious comments related to her husband, clarifying, “I’m not asking for forgiveness or pretending to forget. I’ve never thought about that, but I commented because it’s not true that he was locked up for six months and no one knew. Yes, the minor prostitution is true, but the lies surrounding it are numerous. I didn’t care if I didn’t read those comments, but once I read them, I couldn’t just ignore them. I know it’s tiresome for people to know about others’ private matters, and on days like these, I really dislike my job. I’m sorry, but I hope you have a happy day.”
