Taeyeon, a member of Girls' Generation, will not be participating inSM Entertainment’s 30th anniversary concert, 'SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in SEOUL.'
On December 11, Melon Ticket, the official ticketing platform for the concert, announced, "Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon will not be performing at ‘SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in SEOUL'."
’The statement also addressed the lineup change, saying, "We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this adjustment. Ticket cancellations and refunds will be processed without cancellation fees through the customer service center."
Previously, the concert lineup was slated to include various SM artists such as Kangta, BoA,TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and Hyoyeon, SHINee’s Key and Minho, EXO’s Suho and Chanyeol, Red Velvet, NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV, aespa, RIIZE, NCT WISH, nævis, Raiden, and other performers from SM’s subsidiary labels, including SMTR25, Mar Vista, SM Jazz Trio, and Min Jiwoon.
Taeyeon recently released her sixth mini-album, 'Letter to Myself', on November 18. The 'SMTOWN LIVE 2025' Seoul concert is scheduled to take place on January 11 and 12, 2025, at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. The event will also be live-streamed globally via Beyond LIVE and Weverse.
