As iQIYI’s idol competition show ‘Starlight Boys’ came to an end, STAYC’s Yoon reflects on her experience as a mentor for the first time.
On the final episode of ‘Starlight Boys’ on December 28, Yoon showed undying support for the contestants whom she has mentored since day one of the competition. She expressed that she was equally as nervous as she knew how much effort the contestants had put in to get to the finals.
Due to her positive and energetic encouragement and guidance, Yoon was known as the optimistic mentor to the trainees. She states that upon witnessing the trainees’ passion and determination throughout the process, the fire in her heart was also awoken, as she thought back about her trainee days preparing to be an idol. She conveyed gratitude for this opportunity and promised to continue supporting the contestants in their future endeavors.
Meanwhile, 'Starlight Boys' has finalized their final nine-member group POLARIX set for debut, and Yoon is scheduled to appear on MBC’s ‘Gayo Daejun 2024’ with her group STAYC on December 31.
