According to a survey by the Korea Broadcast Advertising Corporation (KOBACO), teens selected the idol group NewJeans, people in their 40s chose actor Gong Yoo and singer-actress IU, and seniors in their 60s favored soccer star Son Heung Min as their top advertising models. Yoo Jae Suk received the broadest support across generations, leading the preferences among those in their 20s, 30s, and 50s. IU also demonstrated consistent popularity, ranking second across all age groups.
In addition, Yoo Jae Suk topped the list of “most desired variety or educational program hosts” and was 'the most-wanted host for 2025'. This year’s most beloved actors were Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won, while Kim Tae Ri was chosen as 'the actor people most look forward to seeing in 2025'.
KOBACO emphasized that “given the varying preferences across generations, selecting the right advertising model to suit each product is more important than ever.”
