G-Dragon liked a post related to President Yoon Suk Yeol’s declaration of emergency martial law.

On December 4, writer Ha Sang Wook posted a photo of his poem on social media, which read, "Just go away on your own, please."

While Ha Sang Wook did not provide any additional context, the timing of the post during the chaos surrounding the declaration of martial law led many to speculate that it was a veiled critique of President Yoon's sudden decision.

G-Dragon also reacted to the post by liking it. Given that a "like" is often interpreted as an expression of agreement, many believe this to be G-Dragon’s indirect way of expressing disapproval of the martial law declaration.

President Yoon Suk Yeol announced martial law at 10:24 PM on December 3 from the Yongsan Presidential Office. Armed troops under martial law broke the glass windows of the National Assembly building and clashed physically with citizens as they entered the premises.

The National Assembly responded by passing a resolution with 190 votes in favor to demand the lifting of martial law. Subsequently, President Yoon rescinded the declaration and withdrew the troops at 4:27 AM on December 4.
