Former Wonder Girls member Lim (real name Woo Hye Rim) has welcomed her second son.
On December 12, Hyerim shared the joyful news on her social media account, posting a photo of her newborn son along with a heartfelt message: “December 11. Our baby Thank Kong was born yesterday! Thank you for coming to us, Thank Kong (conception nickname) ! I still can’t believe I’m a mother of two sons! Let’s live happily together! Welcome to the world, baby!”
She continued, “Thank you so, so much to everyone who supported us. Both Thank Kong and I are healthy. Welcome to the world, little one. We’re now a family of four — a mom of two sons!”
In response to her announcement, many celebrities and fans sent their warm congratulations. Kang Joo Eun, the wife of actor Choi Min Soo, commented, “Hyerim! Congratulations, congratulations!” Her husband, Shin Min Chul, also expressed his joy, playfully commenting, “Our son.”
Hyerim joined Wonder Girls in 2010 as a member of the iconic K-pop group. Following Wonder Girls' official disbandment in February 2017, she shifted her career to focus on acting and broadcasting.
In July 2020, she married taekwondo athlete Shin Min Chul, and in February 2022, the couple welcomed their first son. With the birth of their second child, Hyerim’s family has now grown to a happy family of four.
