BTS’ Jungkook shines again in extended Disney+ documentary.
Disney+ will release Jungkook’s documentary series 'JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL THE ORIGINAL' on December 3rd at 5 PM KST.
The series is an extended version of the film of the same name, which premiered globally in September. It consists of three episodes, featuring unseen interviews, behind-the-scenes moments from the making of 'Golden', and collaboration footage with Usher.
Notably, the documentary series includes additional performances that were not part of the original film. With about 55 minutes of additional runtime, it offers a richer viewing experience.
It also features the full version of Jungkook’s album showcase, 'Jung Kook GOLDEN Live On Stage', which took place in November. Performances of album tracks such as "Closer to You", "Yes or No", "Please Don’t Change", "Hate You", "Short Glass of Tears", as well as his solo track "Still with You", are included.
The original film, JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL THE ORIGINAL, achieved record-breaking success earlier this year. With approximately 1.38 million global viewers, it became the highest-grossing music film of 2023. In Japan alone, it drew an audience of about 300,000, setting a new record for K-pop solo artist films and achieving the best performance among Korean films released in the country this year.
