Hongki signaled an upcoming concert featuring F.T. Island as a duo.
On November 7, Hongki posted the above selfie on social media along with the message, "See you tomorrow in Gyeongju," to announce F.T. Island would be performing at the 'Han Suwon Music Festival Theater' at the Gyeongju Arts Center.
F.T. Island also revealed their upcoming schedule by releasing a poster for their 'Love in Seoul 2024' concert, which will be held on the 24th at the Blue Square Mastercard Hall in Seoul. The poster drew attention as it only featured Lee Hongki and Lee Jaejin excluding Choi Minhwan, who's been embroiled in prostitution allegations.
Previously, Choi Minhwan's ex-wife Yulhee, a former member of the group LABOUM, shocked the public by exposing sexual harassment incidents she experienced at her in-laws' home as well as Choi Minhwan's prostitution allegations on her YouTube channel.
In particular, she released recordings of phone conversations between Choi Minhwan and adult entertainment business contacts in which he asked to "call a girl" and "book a hotel," causing a stir. Yulhee confessed she had been hurt by Choi Minhwan's inappropriate physical behavior, such as touching her in the presence of family members or inserting money into her chest. As a result, Choi Minhwan was reported for violating the 'Special Act on Prostitution Prevention.' The police have initiated a preliminary investigation into his suspected visits to prostitution establishments as well as allegations of sexual assault.
As the controversy escalated, Choi Minhwan withdrew from programs he appeared on, and FNC Entertainment also confirmed F.T. Island would continue as a duo for the time being, effectively announcing Choi Minhwan's departure.
