Actor Byun Woo Seok donated over $215K to help child patients.
On November 5, media outlets revealed Byun Woo Seok donated 300 million won ($217,672.86 USD) to Severance Hospital for the treatment of child patients. A rep from the hospital expressed, "Thanks to the generous donation, many pediatric patients will be able to receive treatment."
Byun Woo Seok's label VARO Entertainment also confirmed, "It's true Byun Woo Seok donated. He did it personally." It's reported the actor did not want the donation to become publicized, but it was eventually made known to the public.
In other news, Byun Woo Seok recently became an ambassador for the Italian luxury brand Prada.
