Actress Jeon Jong Seo has unfollowed an account linked to the “malicious Hyeri commenter” controversy after public scrutiny over her connection to the account.
As of October 16th, the account that posted malicious comments on Hyeri’s posts was no longer among Jeon Jong Seo’s following list, reducing her following count from 19 to 18.
Previously, the user in question, followed by Jeon Jong Seo, left comments on Hyeri’s posts such as “Even with your sister, you couldn't match up to Ryu...” and “You must have enjoyed the sudden surge in likes thanks to Han So Hee, although they’ve all disappeared now.”
Netizens speculated that the account might belong to Jeon Jong Seo herself or a close acquaintance, given that it was one of the 19 accounts followed by Jeon Jong Seo, who has 1.3 million followers.
While Han So Hee’s side quickly issued a statement denying any connection to the account, Jeon Jong Seo’s representatives have refrained from giving a clear position, stating only that it is a “private matter.”
