Singer Lyn is striking out on her own after leaving her longtime agency 325E&C.
On April 10, 325E&C announced in an official statement, “Our exclusive contract with Lyn, built on deep trust over many years, has recently come to an end. After in-depth discussions, we have decided to conclude our meaningful musical journey while supporting each other’s future endeavors.”
Lyn has consistently demonstrated strong ticket power, selling out every seat at her annual solo branded concert “HOME.” She has also solidified her unrivaled status as the “OST queen” by contributing to numerous hit drama soundtracks.
More recently, she showcased her versatility on MBN’s 'The Best K-Trot Singer' and 'Korea-Japan King's Exhibition,' successfully expanding beyond her ballad roots to perform trot, proving her prowess as a 20-year veteran artist.
The agency added, “We sincerely thank Lyn for leaving a significant mark during her time with us. We ask for your warm support and encouragement as she stands at a new starting line,” and expressed continued support for her future activities across various fields.
Lyn debuted in 2001 with “My First Confession” and has since released numerous mega hits, including “We Were in Love,” “Back in Time,” and “My Destiny.” She married singer Lee Soo in 2014 and later joined 325E&C, the agency he founded in 2018. The couple released a duet album in 2024 to mark their 10th anniversary, but announced their divorce last year, choosing to go their separate ways.
