Fans show concern over tripleS member Kim Chaewon's extreme weight loss

Korean and global fans of tripleS are showing immense concern after noticing member Kim Chaewon's extreme weight loss.

Just 6 months ago, Chaewon looked healthy was loved by fans for her naturally slender figure. 

However, after the New Year, Chaewon began appearing visibly slimmer in more recent schedules. According to Chaewon herself, she is currently undergoing teeth straightening, a procedure which typically includes weight loss due to severe tooth pain.

Still, most recently during the tripleS concert 'My Secret New Zone' in Seoul, held from April 4-5, fans began noticing alarming signs, such as her spine showing even when she stood up straight, or her overall frame "resembling a skeleton model". 

Many Korean netizens are expressing their worries with comments like,

"Please eat soft foods TT. You were already thin but now you're half the person you were last year TT."

"It's really crazy that she can perform like that.. the people around her should really check on her.."

"I know it's bad to say things about people's bodies but I just can't help but be concerned for her health.."

"The company needs to put her on hiatus because that is the body of a person who does not eat. She is going to collapse."

"She looks really really sick."

"At this point, even if she refuses to eat because of the pain, someone needs to force feed her."

"I lost weight when I straightened my teeth too. It hurts so bad. But you gain it back once you get used to the pain and figure out how to eat."

"No way it's because of teeth straightening. There are plenty of ways to get calories and nutrients in by drinking beverages."

"Don't believe her even if she says she's getting her teeth done. That's from getting weight loss injections."

"A person like that needs to be in the hospital TT."
