Police are pursuing a suspect after around 500 entry wristbands were stolen from a ticket booth at a BTS concert venue in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.
Authorities said the theft occurred at approximately 3 20 p.m. on April 11 at the ticket booth of the auxiliary stadium at Goyang Sports Complex in Ilsanseo gu. A man reportedly took a large quantity of wristbands used for concert entry and fled the scene.
Officers responded immediately after receiving the report and began a search based on the suspect’s physical description. Police are focusing their efforts on nearby roads and key routes in an attempt to locate and apprehend the individual.
The wristbands are required for entry into the concert venue. Attendees must present both a valid ticket and an official wristband after verification to gain access. Authorities are continuing their investigation and monitoring the situation closely.
