TWS (SHINYU, DOHOON, YOUNGJAE, HANJIN, JIHOON, and KYUNGMIN) continues to prepare for their upcoming return.
On April 11 KST, TWS unveiled a narrative trailer for their upcoming project 'NO TRAGEDY' on HYBE's official YouTube channel. Titled "OPENING SONNET: star-cross’d lovers," the piece draws inspiration from a famous phrase in the prologue of Shakespeare's ‘Romeo and Juliet.’
The video opens on a moment of youthful anticipation. Upon receiving a text confession reading "I really like you," DOHOON breaks into a bright smile, while KYUNGMIN is seen carefully wrapping a gift. As YOUNGJAE traces the phrase "star-cross’d lovers" across the page, the scene lingers in a still, composed atmosphere that subtly hints at an impending shift.
The tone soon darkens when SHINYU and HANJIN appear deep in thought, while JIHOON shows signs of frustration as tension begins to surface. A swan ornament suddenly shatters, followed by the appearance of a stark warning reading "BEWARE THE STAR’S CURSE AGAINST LOVE." As the space begins to distort, the boys’ fleeting moments of excitement fracture, leaving a red scratch on HANJIN’s cheek. The trailer leaves a narrative unresolved, evoking a sense of curiosity.
TWS’s fifth mini-album, ‘NO TRAGEDY,’ will be released on all streaming platforms on April 27 at 6 PM KST.
