The group SEVENTEEN has received the "Double Platinum" certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) for their best album "17 Is Right Here."
According to SEVENTEEN's agency, Pledis Entertainment, "17 Is Right Here" surpassed 500,000 copies in cumulative shipments as of May. The RIAJ awards Gold Disk certifications based on cumulative album sales each month.
The certifications are categorized as Gold (100,000+ copies), Platinum (250,000+ copies), Double Platinum (500,000+ copies), and Triple Platinum (750,000+ copies). This is SEVENTEEN's 20th Gold Disk certification from the RIAJ, with 11 of those being for Double Platinum or higher.
