NewJeans, Secret Number, LE SSERAFIM, IVE, aespa, (G)I-DLE, IU, Girls' Generation, Kim Sejeong, and BLACKPINK have been selected as the leading figures for the January 'Artist Top Ten K-Pop Girl Brand' by TENASIA ARTIST TOP TEN.

In January, TENASIA's voting service conducted global voting in categories such as K-POP BOY BRAND, K-POP GIRL BRAND, and HOT GENRE BRAND. As a result of the voting, NewJeans topped the K-POP GIRL BRAND category. They have been nominated for two awards at the '2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards' in the United States, scheduled for April 1st, including 'Kpop Song of the Year' and 'Best New Artist (K-Pop)'.

Following their nominations at last year's 'MTV VMA' and 'BBMAs', NewJeans is again a nominee at this year's 'iHeartRadio Music Awards', marking consecutive recognitions at major American music awards.

Secret Number, ranked second, released their seventh single album 'STARLIGHT' in August last year. The track conveys a message about the beauty that surrounds us, despite dreaming of distant beauties.

LE SSERAFIM, in third place, is set to release their third mini-album 'EASY' on February 19th. They are also scheduled to perform at the 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival' in the United States on April 13th and 20th (local time), becoming the second K-pop girl group after BLACKPINK to join the official lineup of 'Coachella'.

The rankings of NewJeans, Secret Number, LE SSERAFIM, IVE, aespa, (G)I-DLE, IU, Girls' Generation, Kim Sejeong, and BLACKPINK were determined using the Melon index for the media score (30%), Google Trends index (10%), and global popularity votes (60%) through TENASIA's voting service.

The criteria for nominees in the K-POP BOY BRAND and K-POP GIRL BRAND categories were top 30 ranks in the Melon chart for male and female idol groups and solo artists for the month, and the HOT GENRE BRAND category included domestic groups and solo artists who entered the top 30 ranks in the Melon chart and Idol Champ monthly chart for the month.
