5-member rookie boy group POW rolls out fresh teaser images for their pre-release single

GRID Entertainment's new 5-member rookie boy group POW is gearing up for a refreshing blow.

Previously, POW garnered attention as the new debut team of Thai actor and SNS influencer Yorch, a former trainee at Big Hit Music who was known as a member of the debut team 'Trainee A'. The 5-member team also consists of former SBS 'Loud' contestant Hyunbin, as well as Jungbin, Dongyeon, and Hong. 

Ahead of the release of their debut mini album in October, POW will kick off their promotions with the release of a pre-release single on September 13. While you wait for more details on POW's pre-release single and debut album, check out the members' new 'ID Card' teaser images, below.

Based off the hangeul (파우), I think their name is supposed to imitate the sound effect *POW*. However, they should’ve maybe realized that when all capitalized it does read as an acronym and one specifically discussing Vietnam War Veterans 😬. So I don’t think there was any foul intentions, especially in relation to such a topic like war.
