T.O.P rumored to be playing a 'retired idol' character in 'Squid Game 2'

According to one exclusive media outlet report on July 7 KST, former Big Bang member/actor T.O.P (Choi Seung Hyun) will play a retired idol on the second season of Netflix's thrilling drama series, 'Squid Game'.

One insider allegedly said, "Based on the character, the actor needed to be someone who could rap and dance, and so director Hwang Dong Hyuk personally chose T.O.P for the role." 

Meanwhile, T.O.P will be starring alongside Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun, Wi Ha Joon, Lim Siwan, Kang Ha Neul, Park Gyu Young, Jo Yu Ri and more in 'Squid Game 2'. Filming is slated to begin in mid-July, with the new season aiming to premiere in 2024.

If he's playing a retired idol that did drugs... that's some crazy method acting the producers imagined when signing him up for the series.
