K-pop Acts that have Rocked the Stage on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

As K-pop continues to make waves internationally, many K-pop acts have been given the opportunity to showcase their talents on prominent American talk shows. Among these shows, "Jimmy Kimmel Live" has emerged as a platform where several K-pop groups have delivered unforgettable performances.

Let's look at the K-pop acts that have rocked the stage on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

1. BTS

    In 2017, BTS appeared for the first time on the popular TV show "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" becoming the first-ever K-pop group to do so. They gave performances of their hit songs "Mic Drop Remix," "Save Me," "I Need U," "Go Go," "Fire," and "Blood Sweat & Tears."

    2. NCT 127

    NCT 127 made their U.S. television performance debut on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on October 8, 2018. Their performances of "Cherry Bomb" and “Regular” left viewers in awe. NCT 127's energetic stage presence left a lasting impact on the late-night show.

    3. MONSTA X

      Monsta X also showcased their talents on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" In 2019, the group made their U.S. television debut with a captivating performance of their English-language song "Who Do U Love?" featuring French Montana.

      4. BLACKPINK

        In 2020, BLACKPINK became the first K-pop girl group to appear on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and gave a pre-recorded performance of “Lovesick Girls.” Then, on September 20, 2022, they returned to the show and gave a live performance of "Shut Down."

        5. SuperM

          SuperM, a K-pop supergroup, also had their moment on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" On the episode aired on February 11, 2020, the group gave a fantastic performance of their debut song, "Jopping" and also sang "Dangerous Woman.”

          6. SEVENTEEN

            SEVENTEEN returned to “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on August 18, 2022, and performed their hit track “HOT.” Previously, the group appeared on the show in 2021 to perform “Ready to Love,” but the performance was pre-recorded in Korea.

            7. aespa

              aespa took the stage on the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” show with their English-language track “Life’s Too Short” on June 29, 2022. This appearance made aespa the first fourth-generation K-pop girl group to ever appear on the show.

              8. Stray Kids

                Stray Kids is the first fourth-generation K-pop boy group to make a monumental appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” On the March 29, 2023, episode of the show, the group guested and performed their hit track “MANIAC.”
