Roy Kim is continuing his ten-year business relationship with CJ ENM.
On May 1 KST, multiple media reports announced that the singer/songwriter has renewed his contract with WAKEONE, a global music label under CJ ENM. Roy Kim first came to fame as the winner of Mnet's 2012 audition series 'SuperstarK4,' making his official debut under CJ ENM shortly after.
Roy Kim was said to be discussing the final renewal of the contract in January, ahead of his exclusive contract's expiration, and attention was focused on whether he would continue under the label. After careful discussions for roughly three months, the contract was eventually renewed.
Meanwhile, Roy Kim made his first comeback since being discharged from the military at the end of last year, having released his 4th full album in October.
