GOT7's Jinyoung enlists for his mandatory service

On May 8, KST GOT7's Jinyoung will also be entering basic military training to fulfill his mandatory service. 

Previously, BH Entertainment announced the news of Jinyoung's enlistment and said, "To minimize crowding on the day of her enlistment, no separate official event will be held, and we ask for your understanding that she is enlisting privately for safety reasons."

At the same time, they urged, "Since the entrance ceremony for the recruit training center is a private event with a large number of soldiers and their families, we ask fans to refrain from visiting the site."

Prior to enlistment, Jinyoung drew attention by revealing his short hair style through his SNS. 

Also, on May 4, KST, he posted a handwritten letter and said, “Are you surprised to hear the news of my enlistment? Everyone is worried, but I think I've become calmer and more reassured now that I've met you guys. I promise to think of you all, stay healthy, experience many things, and come back as a better person. I am always grateful and I love you.”
