The police have confirmed the existence of an accomplice who administered drugs with actor Yoo Ah In and are currently investigating. Yoo Ah In is suspected of taking drugs with said acquaintance at a club in Itaewon. According to the media, since October of last year, Yoo Ah In and his acquaintance have often been spotted in Itaewon's Lounge A, Club B, and Club C.

On April 10 KST, an official from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said at a press conference, "We are investigating additional accomplices who took the drugs together ahead of the second summons investigation."

The police plan to summon Yoo Ah In again as soon as the supplementary investigation into the accomplice is completed.

Yoo Ah In is accused of using four types of drugs: marijuana, propofol, cocaine, and ketamine.

Previously, on March 27 KST, the police called Yoo Ah In as a suspect and investigated the details and purpose of the drug administration for about 12 hours.

The police launched an investigation after receiving records from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety that Yoo Ah In had administered a total of more than 4,040 ml of propofol 73 times in 2021.

Afterward, in the detailed examination of hair and urine by the National Institute of Scientific Investigation (National Forensic Service), three additional positive reactions were found for marijuana, cocaine, and ketamine in addition to propofol.
