K-Economy reports about Ottogi thriving despite being in an economic recession due to working with #Jin

This year, Jin worked with two large companies in South Korea - Nexon and Ottogi. Both projects were initiated by them, and it was stated that they waited for a few years to be able to collab with the artist. The collaborations got lots of attention and hype on social media, increasing the revenue of both companies. Jin has offered many fresh ideas for MapleStory's performance improvement and created a few events. In the end, MapleStory's revenue increased by 47%, and Nexon is predicted to join the 'trillion won club.'

In November, Jin became the model for Ottogi's brand Jin Ramen. K Economy media says that by working with Jin, who is widely loved worldwide thanks to his clean and sophisticated image, Ottogi plans to boost their brand value at home and abroad to the next level. It's only been a month since the launch of the campaign with Jin, but Jin Ramen is already hard to get around the world. People complain about it getting sold out in their local stores, meanwhile, Korea and Japan experience fully emptied shelves. You can see advertisements with Jin eating Jin Ramen anywhere you go and it even has specially designed shelves in some Asian stores.

K Economy published a special article about the secret of success in Ottogi. The article talks about Ottogi thriving despite the economic recession in South Korea due to working with BTS's Jin this year! It's been only one month, but the revenue for 2022 has increased by 15% compared to last year and is going to surpass 148 billion won. A K-Economy article says Ottogi outperformed their previous sales record this year and it is projected that their revenue will soar even higher, especially in overseas markets due to Jin's commercial endorsement. Ottogi's overseas revenue is projected to increase from 211 Billion to over 300 Billion KWR this year.

Jin has worked with two companies in the past 6 months, and both are predicted to join the 'trillion won club' due to experiencing a huge increase in revenue despite the economic recession

By the way, Jin also helped the local business at the beginning of this year when Hankyung Economy News made a report about the penetration rate of "Durihyang Strawberries" rapidly growing from 1% (last year's rate) to 96% because of Jin gifting them to his close friends. The Economy News also reported that Samsung C&T Fashion Group got a huge increase in sales in 2021, and BTS's Jin affected the two brands that had the hugest increase among the rest of C&T Fashion Group brands - Thom Browne and AMI.The artist gave revenue an increase of 220%, which is more than a half.

Jin is also the fastest K-pop soloist to become a million-seller. His album consists of only one single, but the artist already owns up to 7% of Hybe's yearly sales.

K-media says that BTS brings more than $3.6 billion to the South Korean economy, which is equal to 27 mid-sized companies.
