'2022 Genie Music Awards' cancels the live broadcast as well

Earlier today, it was reported the '2022 Genie Music Awards' will be held quietly without a red carpet event or press to mourn for the Itaewon tragedy. As much as fans have been waiting for this event, many expected the 2022 Genie Music Awards to still be broadcasted live.
Following their earlier announcement, Genie Music Awards clarified that they will not have a live broadcast of the event but will air a recording of the award show on a later date.
The award show wrote:
"Hello. This is Genie Music.
As the national mourning period continues after the tragic event, Genie Music has decided to hold the award ceremony in a calm and quiet atmosphere in joining the mourning.
We would like to inform everyone that the award ceremony will be held on a minimal scale in order to keep our promise to the fans who have been waiting for the Genie Music Award held in person for the first time in 3 years. The red carpet event and live broadcast of the award ceremony have been canceled.
The award ceremony will be recorded and broadcast at a later date. The airing schedule will be announced again.
Thank you for your interest and support for Genie Music Awards. Once again, we ask for your understanding."
What many people seem to not realize is that there is a cost to all this virtue-signaling and the canceling of people and celebrities that don't conform. Canceling concerts has a cost, not just to the idols and agencies, but also to freelancers and contractors that work in the background. If an event or concert is postponed at a loss, this often mean a deduction in fees paid to contractors because the organizer is unable to make a profit to contractors in full. In the US, it's common to go ahead with events such as pro games though organizers will hold a moment of silence in remembrance of the victims. Creating a standard where other people have to put their lives, businesses, and careers on hold as a display of public grief, much akin to the paid wailers at funerals, simply means that you are creating even more victims from the original tragedy.
