BLACKPINK makes history and becomes the first Asian Act to reach #1 on Spotify's global daily chart with two songs: "PINK VENOM" and "SHUT DOWN"

BLACKPINK continues to set new records on Spotify.

According to the platform's latest report, BLACKPINK's "SHUT DOWN" debuted directly at No. 1 on Spotify's global chart with 6.6 million streams.

The happiness of the fans did not end there since "PINK VENOM," a song that is also part of the BORN PINK album and which was released weeks ago, debuted at number 2 on the same list of Spotify's global daily chart.

With this new achievement BLACKPINK makes history and becomes the FIRST ASIAN ACT to hit #1 on Spotify's global daily chart with two songs: "SHUT DOWN" and "PINK VENOM."
