BTS become first foreign artist to chart at #1 with 'BTS, THE BEST' on Oricon's Annual Ranking since Michael Jackson's 'Thriller'

BTS have topped another year-end chart!

On December 22 KST, Oricon has officially revealed its 'Annual Ranking,' and BTS topped the chart with their Japanese compilation album 'BTS, THE BEST' with over 992,000 copies sold. The global boy group is also the best-selling Korean act on Oricon this year with more than 1.99 million copies sold.

With this, BTS become the first artist to top the annual chart after 37 years since Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' in 1984, making them the third overseas act and first foreign group to do so.
