'Idol of Idols' ENHYPEN members name BTS's V a their role model

BTS's Kim Taehyung, aka V, has been called the 'Idol of Idols' for many years for being the top role model chosen by 4th-generation K-pop idols and rookies.

Taehyung has left his mark and influenced younger idols through his expressiveness and versatility as a performer, one of which is HYBE's latest boy group, ENHYPEN. Several members have expressed their love for BTS's V over the past year. 

JAY

In a recent fan sign, main rapper and lead dancer Jay said that V was the BTS member he wanted to be close to. 

Jay previously mentioned in an interview with Elle Japan that V is the adult role model that he aspires to become.

He also said in his Weverse interview that V's fashion sense inspired him. V was described by Vogue as the most fashion-forward dresser of BTS at the 2017 BBMAs. 

JAKE

In his Weverse interview, rapper and vocalist Jake mentioned Taehyung as his inspiration for channeling a cool and confident character in music videos. 

V is well-known for his ability to change on-stage personas because of his passion for acting. 

SUNOO

In a Billboard interview, visual and vocalist Sunoo credited Taehyung as the person who gave him the confidence to pursue becoming a full-time artist. 

Sunoo also confessed in a radio interview that Taehyung was his role model since the outset of his journey towards becoming an idol.

He also shared his love for V's self-produced song 'Blue & Grey' on a Teen Vogue interview and an online fan meeting.
