On August 9, the new drama 'Jinxed Couple' (screenplay written by Jang Yoon Mi, directed by Yoon Sang Ho) confirmed the castings of Seohyun and Na In Woo.
'Jinxed Couple' is a fantasy romance drama about the cruel fates of one man who considers his unhappy life as his destiny and lives in conformity, and one goddess who jumps out of her world in order to reverse her curse. It is based on the popular webtoon of the same name, and will unravel the story of an unlucky man who lives in poverty and a luck-filled goddess who lives hidden among the chaebols.
Seohyun will play the role of Seul Bi, who has the mysterious ability to see the future of those she touches. Seul Bi grew up while locked up in a secret room. One day, she escapes from her room out of curiosity and meets Gong Soo Kwang (played by Na In Woo). After their encounter, Seul Bi begins to develop dreams about the outside world. Na In Woo will play the role of Gong Soo Kwang, a salesman at the fish market, who is under a special jinx. Gong Soo Kwang lost everything after he met Seul Bi seven years ago, and begins living a life that is completely different from his previous life. Director Yoon Sang Ho will be working with Na In Woo once again, after their drama 'River Where the Moon Rises'.
'Jinxed Couple' has officially begun filming. The broadcast channel and premiere date for the drama has not yet been finalized.
