Jimin is known for his kind heart, always giving people around the globe comfort and warmth through his sweet words. He has come to be branded as 'the healing idol' for this reason. He also donates constantly to various causes, in an attempt to make the situation better for different groups of vulnerable communities. For instance, he has been known to donate multiple times towards education matters in his hometown, Busan, for years. He has also visited orphanages to spend time with the children there just to make their day better.

Consequently, his fans try to walk in his footsteps by donating to different causes in their respective communities as well as on international platforms that provide help to people in need. 

On August 25, an anonymous fan set up a fundraising campaign online in honor of Jimin's upcoming birthday, which will be on October 13. The fundraiser was on Caritas Manilla, a peer-to-peer platform that enables individuals to set up fundraisers for the support of the work conducted by the organization. The organization tackles hunger and malnutrition in society, and thus the funds from this campaign will be directed towards this purpose.

Just a few days ago, on August 21, a Jimin fanbase donated to the Palestine Children Relief Fund as a way of celebrating Jimin's achievement of being the number one male idol in brand reputation rankings for individual boy group members for the month of August. This achievement has seen Jimin extend his reign at the top of the ranking for 32 months straight and 34 months total. The PCRF has 25 years of experience in helping sick and injured Arab children by providing them with medical aid and other forms of necessary humanitarian assistance. This donation was in response to an appeal that the institution had made on August 18, requesting support for 55 children who were in dire need of urgent medical aid.

This selfless deed saw responses from the institution showing their appreciation for the support. The organization's founder, Steve Sosebee, also acknowledged the donation. He thanked Jimin and stated that 'it is the next generation that carry forth the struggle for freedom and peace in Palestine.' It is true that some forms of campaigns do need a long time to bear fruit, and therefore requires that younger generations take up the torch to see the goal achieved. Jimin's positive influence has seen his fans step up in support of the campaign, something that is much needed from younger people.

In a different scenario, Jimin's fans in Egypt facilitated the building of a well for the community, in honor of his 26th birthday, as reported on August 26. The fans wanted to heal others in society just like Jimin does, also demonstrating how much positivity Jimin spread through the person that he is. 

On July 1, another of Jimin's fanbases donated two boxes of medicine to provide support to the children of Ecuador, again in honor of Jimin as they celebrated his 8th year debut anniversary. The donation to 'Children's Home Saint Vincent of Paul' was to help in their activities of reception of adolescents and children as per their special needs and development stages.

Earlier in May, the same fanbase set up a center for free food distribution to help individuals in need who had been severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jimin is a true angel, and his fans are very much proud of him. For having received so much from Jimin in their lives, they try to do the same and emulate his deeds. As Jimin says, 'Be a Good Human.'
