BTS confirmed to perform on BBC Radio 1's 'Live Lounge'

Group BTS will appear on BBC Radio 1's 'Live Lounge'.

On July 22, BBC Radio 1's 'Live Lounge' announced on their official website, "The 21st century pop icon BTS will appear on 'Live Lounge' for the first time, on July 27th." BTS will perform their hit digital single "Dynamite" and their recently released song "Permission to Dance". They will also perform a cover of "I Will Be Missing You" by Puff Daddy and Faith Evans, which samples The Police's "Every Breath You Take". Many fans are looking forward to how BTS will reinterpret the song "I Will Be Missing You" in their own unique colors. In addition to their performances, BTS will take some time to be interviewed by the radio host. 

'Live Lounge' is a popular UK radio show loved by music fans all over the world, and features global artists who perform their own songs and also cover another musician's song. Some memorable artists include Foo Fighters, Alicia Keys, Harry Styles and Taylor Swift. Adele Roberts, the host of 'Live Lounge', stated, "In recent years, BTS has broken many records, barriers, and boundaries. I'm very excited to finally invite the world's best group to the 'Live Lounge'."

'Live Lounge' with BTS's guest appearance will be released on Radio 1's 'Live Lounge' program and YouTube channel on July 27th, and will also be released on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on July 28th.
