On June 23, (G)I-DLE's label Cube Entertainment released an official statement, revealing that member Minnie has undergone COVID-19 testing.

The agency said,

"Hello, this is Cube Entertainment. 

Back on June 20, one of the staff members in Thailand who worked with Minnie tested positive for COVID-19. 

Afterward, Minnie underwent PCR testing for COVID-19 on the morning of June 22. As of today (June 23), Minnie's results have returned negative.

While Minnie's test results were negative, per Thailand's COVID-19 prevention guidelines, Minnie will remain in quarantine for the next few weeks at home.

We would like to apologize to many of the fans for causing concern. We promise to follow the Thai government's COVID-19 prevention measures closely and to do our best for the health and safety of our artists."
