Singer and actress Uhm Jung Hwa revealed that she suffered a fall accident while on vacation in Jakarta.
On March 16, a new video titled “Guys, we came here to surf, right? A surfing tour full of trials and hardships” was uploaded to Uhm Jung Hwa’s YouTube channel.
The video shows Uhm Jung Hwa embarking on a surfing trip to Jakarta with her close friend Jung Jae Hyung. Ahead of their first trip to Lombok, Uhm Jung Hwa shared her excitement, saying, “It’s my first time going to Lombok. I heard it’s a smaller countryside area compared to Bali, but the ocean is very beautiful. I also heard the scenery is amazing, so I’m really looking forward to it.”
While traveling, Jung Jae Hyung bought a scarf during a stopover. Uhm Jung Hwa complimented him, saying, “It’s pretty. It suits you better than G Dragon.” Jung Jae Hyung jokingly responded with an exaggerated reaction, drawing laughter.
After a long flight, the pair finally arrived in Lombok via Jakarta. Upon seeing the exotic hotel scenery, Uhm Jung Hwa expressed her delight, saying, “It’s so beautiful. I absolutely love it. It’s even prettier in real life, but the camera doesn’t capture everything. I think surfing will be really fun too.”
However, the joy was short lived. After returning to the hotel following her first surfing session, Uhm Jung Hwa appeared with a gloomy expression while icing her toe.
She explained, “It rained all day today, and when I went out for a walk by myself, I slipped. I ended up hitting my toe on the stairs, and it bruised badly.”
She continued, “I feel like crying thinking about what will happen to my vacation. Actually, I already cried because it hurt so much and I was upset. I wondered why I wasn’t feeling excited since this morning. Maybe it was because I was about to get hurt.”
Still, she added, “It’s only the first day and there are still more days left to surf, so I hope it’s just a simple bruise.”
Fortunately, Uhm Jung Hwa later recovered enough to continue enjoying surfing as planned and made the most of her vacation.
