Agency ONE HUNDRED LABEL has stated it will not accept THE BOYZ members’ request to terminate their exclusive contracts.
On March 19 KST, the agency responded to reports that nine members—excluding New—had sent a legal notice in February demanding contract termination. The company firmly stated that the request is “unacceptable.”
According to the agency, contracts were signed under the premise that all 11 members would continue activities as a unified team, with significant signing bonuses paid to each member. However, it claimed that various controversies involving members last year broke that premise, eventually leading to one member’s departure and making normal group activities difficult.
The label added that despite these challenges, it continued to support the group by persuading partners and absorbing financial losses to maintain operations. It argued that the members’ termination request ignores these efforts.
ONE HUNDRED LABEL also denied specific allegations reported in the media, stating that support such as vehicles, managers, and practice rooms had been consistently provided, but was refused by the members. Additionally, the agency dismissed claims that CEO Cha Ga Won misused housing deposits as “completely false and malicious.”
The company further announced plans to take strong legal action against the outlet that reported the allegations.
THE BOYZ originally debuted under IST Entertainment in 2017 and transferred to ONE HUNDRED LABEL in December 2024. The group is currently promoting as a 10 member act following a member’s departure last year.
